Not usually into spideys but this one had the shape of a daddy long legs but had the most beautiful colors!! he was purple with black and white specs on his legs!
Taj-It's the poppie that grew from concrete:)..get it?! This gal was amazing standing straight up outta a massive rock on our 12 mile excursion, we were planning on doing 8 miles but decided that we didnt want to turn around since the 8 miles would be there and back, instead we opted for the loop which was 12.5 miles and then it dumped us 2 miles from the car...suffice to say it was one of the longest day hikes we ever took!...but now we consider ourselves hardcore:)

So, i know it's dificult to see but there is a FAWN!!! They were at the base of my OP and it was amazing! i have to admit i wanted the fawn to be cuter than it was. Although, i do understand that these animals need to be able to run immediately and fast! so he was bigger than i suspected..still cute:)
but this guy totally made up for it! He was/is by far the cutest thing i have ever seen!! still waiting on a friend to tell me the species....

Is that bat in your house? I do not think bats are good pets. I mean they look cool and all but I just don't think it is healthy to have a pet bat.
ReplyDeleteYou guys take the coolest hikes. I wish my backyard is like your backyard, poppies, lizards and cacti. I have ants, little rollie-pollie bugs, a carpenter bee I've named Hannibal and a feral cat that eats all the birds.
I see you got some pictures of deer. Do you have room on your mantle for them? :) Just kiddin. Fawns don't make good trophies. Anyway, love the pics, sorry I have not posted in like a month or so. I have worked 11 days in a row and have 9 more to go until my next day off. Oh yeah, and Mother's Day is our busiest day of the year. I still haven't seen the beach. Soon enough I will.

yikes!, i myself am on a 13 day stretch and i thought that was bad, ..guess i will quit my bitchin:) that bat was at work in the doorwell for a couple days then he left. i have tons of pics to post and i will soon but have been so busy this past week. we just got back from our first vet apptment with bilis. she is healthy!!, yay!! the doc wants her to gain about 5 lbs and she is neg for heartworm and now up to date on all of her shots:) everyone seems to love her and think she is a beauty, blush. the vet tech had to muzzle her to take her temp (i dont blame her!) and give her shots. that was our highlight! tomorrow we are having Garrett, my new employee over for a dog social and to play guitar with Shyama and i will cook them both dinner and thing of our 'Fat Tuesdays'....sigh
