Labor Day weekend-San Clemente, CA
We went to San Clemente, CA for labor day weekend and camped out on the beach for a night. It was cold, cold, cold (for me)! and then the following day we went to Anne's brother's house for a bbq. it was real fun with lotsa family members including kids-well just one real well behaved one:)- and dogs. Bilis did great and kept her distance from the pool and hot tub! our dog is no water dog!! Anne's family was real nice and it felt like good to be around kind people.
boys swimmin in the Pacific

Besties:) (he's gonna kill me when he sees this)
a little blurry but still nice, San Clemente State Beach, CA. this is where we camped and it just happened to be like quarter mile to Bond's brother-in-law's house.
bilis and her uncle Justin

a little out of orde but who can deny a sunset?
This is sorta funny but reallly just child abuse. i like to refer to it as Buckin Bilis...now she doesnt even do wet sand.
this is the only way she would have it...
The calm after the storm..oh, she still has her eyes on those waves!
my favorite shot EVER!!
This is a black phase coachwhip which is a rare sight! they are normally pink.
OMG its a DOUBLE RAINBOW!!!!!!! this made our trip up to Prescott worth the hour extra traffic we had to deal with:)

these were the coolest moths hangin out at our campsite with their funky nose...wonder what they eat to evolve such a distinct nose?
I actually dont feel 'free' knowing that everyone is carrying a gun! As much as we love PRescott, and as much as it seems more liberal this is what we see....:(
i will leave you with curious cousins:) Bryson was actually real interested in Bilis and Bilis just loves kids. we cannot get overhow friendly she is with them!
Besties:) (he's gonna kill me when he sees this)

Addicted to Smoothies!
Hey Guys! I've been hooked on these homemade smoothies all summer and I've been pushing them on everyone. So now I shall push them on you.

A handful of blueberries, 4-8 strawberries (depending on size), one bananananana, some cherry lowfat yogurt and some ice. Blend well and you are good to go!

Its a little messy but so worth the taste. Plus it has to be good for you, I put a little lowfat whip cream on top, but that was more just to get rid of the can.
Anyway, take care guys

My Trip to New England
Hola,
So I went up to Connecticut for a few days to hang out with Nick in a small town called Chaplin. The drive up to Nick's took about ten hours and had some good views.

The first thing I had to do was cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. It is 21 miles long, has two underwater tunnels and one expansion bridge. It is unbelievable how long it takes to cross the bridge. There was an amazing shine off the water from the sun and in the distance were these huge ships. The ships could of been military, maybe aircraft carriers or destroyers.

I got stuck in outside Philly and decided to take a picture of the skyline in the distance. As I took the pic a guy and his wife in the car behind started honking his horn and flashing his lights at me. Welcome to Philly! We were in stopped traffic and only one car length had opened up in front of me. So I turned the camera around and dramatically took a picture of the couple over my shoulder. I ended up taking a pic of the back seat but the result was hilarious, the wife covered her face and the car backed off and disappeared behind me in the traffic. Fuckin awesome! Watch out for crazy guy with a camera!

I drove to Rhode Island, Mass., New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont in a 12 hour drive. It was a great experience, the only problem was that it was 12 hours of driving straight, no breaks. So I only got this one decent pic of Vermont, which happens to be my 49th state. Only Hawaii left. We did play 9 holes of golf at the Twin Hills Country Club, it was alot of fun but that's what the loser always says. Nick shot a 48 and I shot a 55. Ya ya go Nick.

Nick has an awesome dog named Teddy. He was so much fun to play with, just a lovable, goofy, well behaved pup.

Gotta end with the bugs, they were pretty bad. Well take care everyone, there is a hurricane swinging by here tonight and no one seems to care. Everyone's been playing it cool here. I stocked up on frozen pizza, in hindsight maybe I should of got water or something. Nah.
