This is my new ink!! It is my species of salamander I studied in grad school. Ambystoma macrodactylum (long-toed salamander). i could decide where i wanted him and then the artist (same guy that did the cat face on the back of my neck) was like why dont you put him on your inner arm so that when you bend your arm his tail moves. I also like the idea that it is a different place to put a tatt. :)

Great Tattoo! I really like the shading underneath the little guy. It's like he is out sun-bathing. One of these days I'll get a new tattoo. When I was in PDX I was hoping to get one after we climbed Mt. Hood, but we did not climb it. I have to admit, when I flew over the mountain, I had this great view of the mountain top. It looked very angry and rather dangerous. Then the day after I'm there, Colleen gave Taj a newspaper clipping that said someone died on Mt. St. Helen's in an avalanche and that all surrounding mountains have avalanche warnings. So that was that.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I'm looking for some pics to post but not having much luck. Portland was fun, but I got sick and Taj twisted his ankle pretty badly. We did eat wings about 5 times and drank a ton of beer. Other then that, I just made sure my stuff was ready to move. So there is almost no pics.
Since I've been back I have been watching the World Cup and putting off looking for a job. Now that the WC is over, I guess I will have to try to find a jobby job. Well, take care and stay cool in the desert :)
